Description
|
French Porcelain Pot-Pourri and Pierced Cover. The Mennecy porcelain pot-pourri jar and pierced cover has applied individual florettes (en forme de pelotes de neige) or schneeballblüten decoration (balls of snow) and a naturalistic moss-covered rocky base modelled with a branching tree to one side and a fox on the other. The cover similarly decorated and with three series of holes for pot-pourri in the shape of a flower-head. There is a single raised flower finial on the cover. Dimensions: 17cm x 15 cm x 10 inches
