Description
|
A rare pair of early Vienna figures of itinerant peasants, the man resting over his basket of turnips and radishes, a smoking pipe in his hand. The lady rests on the corn she has just cut, her sythe is in her hand – modelled by Anton Payer – incised P to base and an early blue beehive mark

some leaves missing to the base of the man and her tree trunk is re-stuck and a chip filled some leaves missing
