Description An exceptionally important and massive German Goblet bearing the coat of arms of Hamburg - Glucksburger Hutte

Es gehe den Mayestrat der stat hamburg wohl auch dießen so hier auß trincken solln
Roughly translated as “One should go to May street in the city of Hamburg where probably these are drunk out of" - One can only assume that this was made as an example of civic pride.

The diameter of the foot is 17.5cm

Condition The foot is a museum replacement
