Description
|
An extremely fine gold mounted scent bottle made of twisted glass or rock crystal. The finely chased gold mounts are embellished with 16 diamonds, (0.55cts) and 8 emeralds, (side stone cushion cut, 0.10 cts.) The lid is mounted with a large cabochon amethyst. Gold chain and ring.
The colour combination of the stones and lack of any markings lead one to make a possible attribution to it being Russian or Eastern European?.
