A very rare Chantilly covered ointment pot with a screw lid (pot à toilette à couvercle vissé), painted with a Kakiemon design of two storks, the reverse with a flying blue and orange patterned dragon over three leaf motifs. The cover painted with two blue storks and an elaborate kakiemon patterned border. Marked with a red hunting horn. Provenance: Collection label for Mme. de Mondiargues. 9cm High 7cm Dia.
