Description
|
An exceptional Chelsea dessert plate, the rich mazarine blue ground is complimented with elaborate gilt cartouches of imaginary fancy birds perched on leafy branches with others in flight. The central panel is painted with a fruiting stem of pomegranates surrounded by insects.
