Description
|
A rare Meissen tea bowl and saucer, the tea bowl painted with a continuous scene and the saucer depicting a duck hunt, two elegant gentlemen with their hunting dog on the shore assessing a raft of ducks in flight. Kakiemon flowers scattered around the border of the saucer and a more formal arrangement inside the tea bowl. Marked with gilt B to both pieces. Crossed swords mark. Tea bowl 4.5cm High and almost 8cm Dia. Saucer 13cm Dia. The stripes of light are from the camera, the porcelain is in fine condition.
