Description
|
An extremely fine and rare Meissen water ewer and hinged cover. Pear shape, painted with Holzschnitt Blumen 'floral sprays' including a large rose to one side and a yellow rose with forget-me-nots to the other, surrounded by insects, butterflies and a ladybird, below a formal lambrequin gilded border.
