Pair of Doccia sweetmeat dishes - hard-paste porcelain moulded in the form of a leaves, the stalk forming the handle. 12.5cm Wide (from tip of leaf to end of stalk) 12cm Deep The Doccia porcelain manufactory, at Doccia, a frazione of Sesto Fiorentino, near Florence, was founded in 1735 by Marchese Carlo Ginori (1702–1757), Italian politician (Tuscany).
