|
An exceptional pair of first period Worcester tapering hexagonal vases with domed covers and pointed finials, each richly decorated in Kakiemon style with Dragon like creatures coiled around a bamboo stalk, alternating with panels of flowering plants and insects, reserved on a shagreen ground, the shoulders and the rims of the covers with dense iron red scroll work.
