Description
|
A rare green shagreen casket with a gold piqué inlay design. The silver-gilt(?)lined interior is fitted with two glass scent bottles with silver-gilt collars and glass stoppers; a pencil, a pair of gold tweezers, a gold bodkin, a gold ear-pick and ‘spoon’, a tortoise-shell penknife, and a shaped ivory writing tablet.
