Description
|
A fine Meissen chinoiserie group, modelled by J J Kändler, depicts a man and woman seated by a tripod table on which sits a coffee pot, a tea bowl and saucer filled with a brown liquid, and a bowl of sugar chips. She holds an empty tea bowl and saucer in her right hand while he serenades her with a mandolin. A green parrot sits under the table; her feet rest on a chess board, and a closed orange parasol is by her side. 11cm High 13cm Wide 9cm Deep
