Description
|
A fine Birmingham or South Staffordshire enamel snuff box or bonbonniere modelled as the head of a lion, its mouth slightly open to reveal its teeth, the face and mane carefully painted in natural golden brown tones. The hinged lid is painted with a lion and tiger in combat. The lid is 6cm Dia.
