Chelsea seal fob modelled as a nursing mother with an intaglio cornelian seal, the base has a French inscription referring to “L’ENFANCE” Childhood..
These miniature seal fobs are very beautifully decorated and sometimes mounted in gold, they were made to be presented as gifts or love tokens.
