Chelsea seal fob modelled as a seated nun reading the bible? and with a mother of pearl seal, the base has a French inscription of “AMOUR SPIRITUAL” Spiritual Love.
These miniature seal fobs are very beautifully decorated and sometimes mounted in gold, they were made to be presented as gifts or love tokens.
