Description
|
A very elegant Chelsea conical-shaped tea bowl and saucer, finely painted with groups of strutting exotic birds amongst shrubs, within gilt trellis and foliate cartouches, on a rich mazarine blue ground. The interior of the tea bowl is decorated with a gilt flower spray.
Gold anchor mark.
Exhibited Stockspring Antiques 2008 and a Paper label for Christie’s 17.12.84.
