Description
|
A very rare and early dry edge Derby figure of a violinist, modelled in a seated position, resting his violin under his chin, painted with blowsy flowers on his tunic and breeches, and wearing a yellow coat painted with lime green lining, raised upon an oval base painted with scrolling veiny leaves and applied flowers and foliage.
