Description
|
A fine Derby figure of Apollo standing on a scroll base amidst Trophies of the Arts. He wears a green laurel wreath over his brown hair and a yellow-lined drapery with gold foliage and red stylised flowers, and also a green cloak held on his left shoulder with a blue brooch. He stands with his left foot forward and his left arm extended behind him, resting on a lyre. On the right, there is a trumpet and a lute on a stack of books.
