Description
|
A fine pair of Derby porcelain models of a Setter and a Spanish Pointer in working and hunting pose, raised upon a green mound with applied flowers and leaves. 18cm Wide 10cm High 7cm Deep Pointing dogs were originally used by hunters who netted the game. The dog would freeze or set and allow the hunter to throw the net over the game before it flushed.
