Description
|
A Meissen cos lettuce-leaf-moulded oval sauceboat with a green glazed stalk loop handle. Finely painted with sprays of botanical flowers and insects, the interior is painted with a large white lily. Gilt line rim. Marked with blue crossed swords. 12cm High to top of handle, 21cm Wide and 11cm Deep. *This is the prototype for the English model found most commonly in Worcester and Derby; other factories include Longton Hall.
