Description A fine and rare large Meissen low teacup and saucer, with ozier borders, painted with "holsnitzblumen" or botanical style flowers, butterflies, and many other insects, all with "ombrierten" (shadows) in the style of Klinger. Applied on one side with a beautiful elaborate interlocking rococo scroll moulded handle enriched with gilding and surmounted with a lady's head wearing a tricorn hat.

Cup 6cm High and the bowl 9cm Dia.

Saucer 15cm Dia.
