An extremely fine and rare pair of Red Anchor period moulded Chelsea plates, probably painted by Jefferyes Hamnett O'Neale with birds after engravings by Francis Barlow. Francis Barlow (c.1626-1704) was Britain's first wildlife painter. 24cm Dia. Provenance: English Private Collection. The plates are in fine condition. The stripes of light are from the camera.
