Description Sèvres sugar bowl and cover (Pot à sucre Hèbert) with a gold dash brickwork pattern. The cartouches to the bowl and the cover are painted with objects connected with country pursuits in landscape settings. Pink flower finial.

No painters marks, but typical of the country paintings by Andrè-Vincent Vielliard Père (Active 1752-90) Painter - Figures, landscapes, trophies, patterns and flowers.

Viellard made this type of decoration his speciality and only occurs for a short period.
