Description
|
A rare moulded Worcester teapot and cover, painted with a version of so called 'Staghunt' pattern. The pleat moulding and the cartouches around the painted pattern are very finely executed. The painting is extremely detailed using bright and vibrant enamel colours. This pattern derives from Chinese porcelain and occurs on other English and Dutch wares. 14cm High (to tip of finial) 18cm Wide (spout and across handle)
