An extremely rare porcelain Worcester white salt with gilded dentils of an oval metal shape, the lower half with moulded gadrooning and four cherub masks and claw feet.
This is the only known Worcester salt of the shape and indeed the form, derived from metalwork of the 1730s, has no other parallels in English porcelain.
